This holiday is a day of service, not shopping. Like Dr. King dedicated his live to uplift ALL Americans, Plan on doing something, somewhere in your community. Community service is always a great thing to do. Bring your kids who are out of school. Teach them early what SERVICE to others really looks like. In the past,my niece and her friends joined me as we planted trees in our parks and painted walls in our schools!
As a bonus, they will get their community service hours!
