I’d be remiss if I didn’t acknowledge the passing of the majestic Roberta Flack.
Her voice was heaven sent, her songs iconic. My aunt Pat took me to the Kennedy Center to see her in the early 1970’s. I didn’t appreciate what I saw and heard that evening until decades later.
