A Bit More about Forgetting

“Forgetfulness is a form of freedom.”
Kahlil Gibran

When I made the conscious decision to “pay more attention” to my spiritual life (again), it wasn’t with the intention to remember all the things I forgot.

I simply did not KNOW the things I had forgotten! If you don’t know who Susan Lynn is – check her out on YouTube. My story occurred on the evening of an anticipated event with Sybil Harmony (again,YouTube) for a heart chakra healing.

You still with me? Lets continue, shall we? While I had the ‘notify me” button clicked, YouTube is full of games these days. Has anyone else been getting unsubscribed from pages? It’s frigging annoying!

Anyway, like I was saying, I was in my room, relaxing and got a whiff of sandalwood. Sandalwood is one of my all time favorite scents. It’s a bit heavy for me nowadays, but to have it in my space made me remember someone else I had forgotten.

After a few minutes of meditating on WHO this was, I received my answer. It was ArchAngel Michael and sandalwood has always been my message he is near. When I say I cannot remember the last time I smelled sandalwood, I mean I do not remember. It has been years. By no means did I think it meant ArchAngel Michael wasn’t near me. I know better. But to have an active reminder on the same evening I planned on doing a heart chakra healing? It felt like the best hug in the world.

It was a reminder that despite my bad assedness, what I do MATTERS. It is important to remember why I am here, in spite of all my grumbling and mumbling. It was a reminder to never be afraid because I am protected and deeply loved at all times – even when I am unlovable to myself.

Pay attention to everything that happens around you. Sights, sounds and yes, scents. Our messages are meant to comfort and confirm our uniqueness in this space and how important our energy is, right here and right now.

You matter, I matter, WE MATTER!
Thanks for reading! Have a blessed Psalm Sunday!

Much love,
Michelle
