Our world and minds are busy, busy, busy. Doing this, that, the other, making schedules for calls, reminders to do simple every day things. Sometimes I just want the world to STOP MOVING.
While that won’t happen, I can control how much I am willing to do in my 24 hours. Imagine, you can do exactly the same thing!
Slow down and the world around you will eventually slow down as well. Not immediately, but soon, if you slow down, so will everything else.
We control our lives – in spite of what everyone tells you. I try to control my downtime by utilizing my phone’s do not disturb whenever I am meditating. I NEED to use it when I am writing. Sitting here, my phone has rung several times! Do. NOT. Disturb.
Practice taking time for yourself. This can be a brief meditation, a few minutes walking alone, or just a few deep breaths. Spend a little time daily to show yourself you are worthy and deserving of care. As someone who has to remind myself EVERY Day to SLOW Down, it helps. Trust and believe.
Take control of your life. It is YOURS. Act as if this is true because it is!
