Sounds like the world in which we live, amma right? While I USED to understand different viewpoints, different ways of looking at how government should work, how monies should be spend and WHO government should work FOR, I have never understood the sheer selfishness of a bullshit philosophy called Pull YOURSELF Up by your Bootstraps. Especially since those who preach this either inherited ALL their money or don’t have shit to begin with.

Today, there are people walking around America telling me that what I SAW with my own eyes on January 6, 2021 DID NOT HAPPEN. As if, I would forget those angry white folks, acting like toddlers who didn’t get their way. Except this was a public display and a blatant attempt to stop the peaceful transfer of power. And IT DID.

We live in a country where the conservative judges on the Supreme Court all have billionaire owners (allegedly and for entertainment only) and they vote accordingly. We live in a world where lawyers for the person who attempted to overthrow the government are so afraid of a black prosecutor, they have spent weeks besmirching her name.

And For WHAT? POWER That’s WHAT. Power to decide who gets to vote, who gets healthcare, who gets educated (same folks who blocked student debt forgiveness and refuse to expand healthcare). Power to decide if a woman can make her own healthcare choices or if those choices should be left to decrepit, old, WHITE men because they want to force white womenfolk to have more babies.

Wake the fuck up and pay attention NOW. September may be too late.
