Of Birds and Bees Part 1

Have you ever received a message that intuitively FEELS like it’s important, but you just can figure out what the message is? I had a week like that last month. Let’s talk about it!

I walked into my yard to dump some vegetable peelings. I leave them for whatever critters find them, as far from my porch as I can go. Walking back into the house, I saw a large, black feather, leaning against my back steps. That’s right, it was upright, not laying on the ground.

Not knowing what bird it came from and a bit skittish over a BLACK FEATHER, I gave thanks to my angels and placed it in my door, where it cannot be moved or blown away. I then took a picture and sent to my animal guru Jean Rockefeller to see what kind of bird it was. She responded it was either a vulture (which I feared) OR a goose feather. Turns out, it IS a Goose Feather!

I found out quite a few impressive facts about geese, their way of life and how they are in within their social group. Did you know geese mate for life? They are loyal, protective and have the mentality of perseverance. All great qualities. But what about spiritual qualities?

GOOSE FEATHER MEANING

It seems the goose feather is a sign and symbol from my guardian angels – really welcome news at this time. Last month was really rough, almost brutal in bringing up old feelings of self worth and issues with finances.

The feather is a reminder (always) to keep my Head and Heart to the sky. Keep my spirits bouyed, stay Positive, Open and Accepting. Accepting of my self, my short comings and my victories. Staying strong in faith is a great way to look at life, today and every day.

Feel free to add your experience with finding feathers, what kind of feathers you find and what it meant to you. I’d love to hear from you!

Part 2 will publish in a few days! Please come back to read it!
Thanks for being here.

Have a blessed day!

Michelle
