Hope When the Rainbow Ain’t Enough

Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul – and sings the tunes without the words – and never stops at all. – Emily Dickenson

As a reminder, Hope is FAITH in Action!

I try my best to remain positive and uplifted, at times that proves difficult to damn near impossible. While I am still hopeful, my question is “How Long, Will This Be Going ON?”

I admit this is selfish and self-centered. After all, I am usually home. I think it’s a mental issue since nothing is open and there is no where to go. Getting creative within our restrictions, we now have a weekly game night via Google Hangout ( owning a business is good for something)! FaceTime and Duo use has increased tremendously.

I truly HOPE this is over by June. Selfish? Yes, indeedy. It’s my birthday month and I really, REALLY want to celebrate! What I know is, as soon as we are set free, we will be in the street for the duration.

Hang in there. Order some books from Better World Books, or find some needed chores around the house. There is still plenty to do if you wish to volunteer – many organizations are focused on keeping everyone feed, from our front line health care workers to school children. Do your part and this isolation won’t be wasted.

My Photo for this post was painted by my dear, departed friend The Artist Saint! His talent, kindness and down to earth humanity are sorely missed in these trying times.

Thanks for reading. Be blessed and Do More!
